Big News: Sarah to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro

Sarah has decided to stay an extra week in Tanzania and climb Mt. Kilimanjaro in mid-September. On one hand I'm not too happy about it, but on the other hand I'm happy that she will no longer be traveling back to the airport and flying by herself (with a possible stopover in Nairobi by herself where the U.S. State Department has issued a travel warning).

This past weekend I hired our crew. I hired one guide and four porters to come with us on our personal expedition. Lonely Planet; Tanzania was a good source of information.

My wisdom tooth surgery went well, although one tooth gave them particular trouble and it is the one that hurts a great deal right now. It would actually have been smooth sailing if not for that tooth and I would otherwise probably be at work soon, but as it stands it is still hard to eat (or maybe I'm just saying that so I can enjoy more of these homemade milkshakes). This morning's painkillers should kick in soon enough though, and I'll have another relaxing day.
