Swimmer's ear. And pecs, and abs, and

I quit going to my early morning cycling class a little while ago. While the goal was to get into great aerobic shape, I realized that I was also working my legs a lot, and they are getting pretty big. In fact, my legs are as big as I would ever want them, while I feel my upper body could use some size, so I realized that it didn't make sense to keep doing the spinning class. I decided to switch to swimming so that I could use my upper body more during my aerobic workouts (in addition to the usual weightlifting).

I have to say, so far I'm impressed with the results. I got some new competitive goggles and a tight swimsuit that looks a lot like my cycling shorts. It took a lot of courage to try on that swimsuit, but I have to admit it looks pretty darn good now. It's kind of weird, actually -- every day I look more and more like Michael Phelps. In fact, I'm almost the spitting image now (except he is 6'3" and I am only 6'0").

Today I swam 1,200 meters on an empty stomach. I love working out in a fasted state after waking up. You should have seen the breakfast I ate this morning. I needed two trays to carry it all.

So what seems to be the problem? Let's see some pictures of that new swimmer's bod!
